NSW Police are advising the local community there may be an increase in traffic around the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn ahead of this week's attestation parade.
More than 3000 people are expected to attend the ceremony on Friday 12 December 2025.
NSW Police Academy Commander, Chief Superintendent John Klepczarek said a high-visibility traffic operation would be in place for the duration of the event.
"General duties officers from the local area will be assisted by officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command to minimise the traffic impact on the local community," Chief Superintendent Klepczarek said.
"Event guests and the wider community are encouraged to plan their trips into the Goulburn CBD to avoid significant delays."
Increased traffic is expected on Friday between 7am and 9am and between 10.30am and 12pm on roads surrounding the Academy, including Sydney Road, Union Street, Tarlo Street, Middle Arm Road and McDermott Drive.
