Traffic Crash Appeal, Morningside

Police are appealing for information following a traffic crash involving a car and e-scooter in Morningside on Wednesday, 19 November.

Investigations indicate, about 5:30pm a silver Toyota Corolla collided with an e-scooter on the corner of Beverly Street and Wynnum Street.

The driver of the vehicle, a 49-year-old Upper Brookfield woman was not physically injured.

The rider of the e-scooter, an 18-year-old Norman Park man sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

Officers are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dash cam vision between 5.15pm and 5.45pm to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
