Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious traffic crash in Port Curtis on 4 December to contact police.
Initial investigations indicate that around 11.20am, a black YZF Yamaha motorcycle was travelling westbound along the Capricorn Highway when it collided with the rear of a white Nissan Patrol Station Wagon.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 37-year-old Rockhampton man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital.
The driver of the Nissan, a 55-year-old Wandal woman, and a 21-year-old female passenger from Gracemere, were not physically injured.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or have dashcam footage of the incident, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
