The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is appealing for witnesses following a serious single vehicle traffic crash near Childers this afternoon, July 30.
Emergency services were called to Childers Road, near the intersection of Swantons Road, in North Isis around 2.20pm, following reports a white Renault Kangoo van had rolled.
The driver, a 76-year-old Childers man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.
His passenger, a 70-year-old Childers woman, was transported via helicopter to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Any witnesses, including anyone with relevant dashcam vision, are urged to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing into the circumstances leading up to the crash.
