Traffic Delays Expected at CQ Bridges

Between Saturday 28 January and Monday 30 January 2023 extended delays are expected on the Bruce Highway and Capricorn Highway to facilitate the very low speed crossing of a large oversize load.

Bruce Highway – Raglan Creek Bridge

Between approximately 9.30pm Saturday 28 January 2023 and 5am Sunday 29 January 2023 a possible delay period of up to four hours is expected on the Bruce Highway at Raglan Creek bridge approximately 13km north of Mt Larcom/58km south of Rockhampton.

Capricorn Highway – Neerkol Creek Bridges 1 and 2

Between approximately 8.30pm Sunday 29 January 2023 and 5am Monday 30 January 2023 a possible delay period of up to six hours is expected due to a temporary closure of the Capricorn Highway at Neerkol Creek bridges 1 and 2, approximately 14km west of Gracemere.

Speed reductions, traffic control and signage will be in place at Raglan Creek bridge and Neerkol Creek bridges 1 and 2 to ensure the safety of all road users.

All road users are encouraged to plan and schedule in expectation of these temporary closures.
