Traffic Disruption From Signal Works In Highett

Highett is likely to experience significant traffic delays in the next few months as Sunkin, the developer of Highett Common, installs new traffic signals at the Bay Road and Graham Road intersection.

Graham Road and some lanes on Bay Road will be closed for up to 5 months from late May for these State Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) approved works.

Bus routes 822 and 828 will also be impacted with stops on Bay Road, Graham Road, and Jack Road temporarily closed during the works, resulting in changes to the routes.

There is expected to be significant impact to traffic during these works.

While these are not Council works, we are working with Sunkin's contractor to minimise disruption to residents and the surrounding community.
