Transit Police investigate Watsonia burglary

Detectives from Transit Crime Investigation Unit are investigating a burglary and theft at Watsonia railway station on Thursday, 11 February.

Investigators have been told a man was seen walking along the ramp of platform 1 about 10.25am.

He entered the cleaner's room at 10.28am and stole a backpack containing a number of personal items, including electronics.

The man exited the room a short time later and boarded a city-bound train

CCTV and images have been released of a man police believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
