Travel To Indonesia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Hon Richard Marles MP, will travel to Jakarta, Indonesia arriving on 23 February for high-level defence and security discussions.

The Deputy Prime Minister will meet with his counterpart, Indonesian Minister of Defence, Prabowo Subianto, to work towards finalising the Australia-Indonesia Defence Cooperation Agreement.

Indonesia is one of our closest partners.

We have a long history of close cooperation on maritime security and share an ambition to further broaden and deepen our defence relationship.
