Trespasser arrested in Dry Creek, South Australia

A man has been charged after he was found on the roof of a building in Dry Creek last night.

Just after 9.20pm, Saturday 5 January, police were called to an industrial premises on High Street after reports a man had been seen climbing on the roof of a building.

Patrols with the assistance of Police Dog PD Ruger cordoned the building while the Police Helicopter PolAir was called in to assist with the search.

PolAir attended and reported there was a man allegedly attempting to hide on the roof. Two police officers were sent up on the roof and arrested a 27-year-old Prospect man. Police allegedly located a bag containing power tools nearby.

He has been charged with being unlawfully on premises, possessing an article to commit and offence and breach of bail. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court Monday 7 January.
