Trespassing charges at Millmerran

Two people have been charged by members of the Major and Organised Crime Squad (Rural) following a trespassing incident at Millmerran last month.

On March 23 it is alleged a 29-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, both of Margate were the principal organisers of a protest and trespassing incident at a Bostock Road, Millmerran feedlot.

The two were charged today with unlawfully entering farming land (trespass) and were bailed to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on May 9.

Investigations remain ongoing with further arrests anticipated.
