Trial bike rider seriously injured in Engadine

A trial bike rider has been injured following a crash in Sydney’s south yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 7pm (10 January 2016) emergency services were called to fire trail off Dobell Road, Engadine, following reports a trial bike had hit a tree.

Officers from Sutherland Local Area Command attended.

The rider of the unregistered trail bike, a 20-year-old Engadine man was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for a head injury.

He was airlifted to St George Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
