Trio arrested following thefts from Melbourne parking meters

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested three men today following a two month operation into the alleged theft of parking machine money across metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria Police say.

A 48-year-old Point Cook man and a 20-year-old Burnside man have been charged with theft and dishonesty offences.

They have both been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 1 March 2018.

A 26-year-old Gladstone Park man has been released pending further enquiries.
