Three men have been reported for attempting to escape from the Port Augusta Prison on September 20 and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date, according to SA Police.
The men, aged 50, 30 and 28, have also been reported by police for illegal interference with a motor vehicle and damaging a second vehicle. Both vehicles were on prison grounds.
The men will be summoned to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
