Police are currently on scene at a truck crash in Sydney's west.
About 3.50am today (Wednesday 27 May 2026), emergency services responded to reports that a truck had crashed into barrier dislodging a power pole in the north bound lanes of Sunnyholt Road, Glenwood, approximately 500m south of Quakers Hill Parkway.
A 25-year-old male occupant of the vehicle was arrested at the scene by officers from Riverstone Police Area Command.
Another male occupant has allegedly fled the scene on foot.
Two of the four north bound lanes on Sunnyhold Road are currently closed and are expected to remain closed for a considerable amount of time.
Major traffic delays are being experienced, and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
