Truck crash - Mount Pleasant, Wollongong, NSW

Police are investigating following a truck crash in Mount Pleasant today.

About 8.30am tomorrow emergency services were called to Mount Ousley Road, Mount Pleasant, after reports of a crash, NSW Police say.

On arrival, officers found a truck had rolled on its side carrying building materials.

It is believed the truck had struck a tree.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The driver, a 36-year-old man, was not injured.

Police from Wollongong Local Area Command and heavy vehicle inspectors from the Roads and Maritime services are in attendance to investigate the incident.

Emergency services and traffic crews remain on scene.

Recovery of vehicle is underway.

All south bound lanes are currently closed.
