A man has died after his garbage truck collided with another truck at Epping this morning.
The 50-year-old was driving along Miller Street shortly after 7am when a protruding rear crane stabilising arm attached to a container truck travelling in the opposite direction hit the driver's side of his cabin.
WorkSafe is investigating the incident.
The death brings the number of fatalities to 24, one more than at the same time last year.
