A White Hino Tipper Truck laden with a Hitachi orange and black excavator was stolen from a South Burnie business site early Tuesday morning, Tasmania Police say.
The registration of the Hino truck is E82HD.
A Husqvarna circular-saw used for cutting through railway was also stolen from the site.
The truck and excavator was being used for infrastructure upgrades in the Burnie area for the National Broadband Network.
The White Hino Truck is believed to have front-end damage to its cab.
The orange and black Hitachi excavator is in new-near condition.
The value of the theft is approximately $100,000.
