Police are investigating after a truck struck a number of bridges on the Tullamarine Freeway early this morning.
The B-double was carrying a crane when it hit the Moreland Road overpass at Pascoe Vale South about 12.30am and became stuck.
It’s believed the truck also hit the Brentwood Avenue and Reynard Street overpasses prior to becoming wedged.
The 61-year-old driver, from Queensland, was not injured.
There were extensive traffic delays while the truck was removed from underneath the bridge however all lanes have since been reopened.
The bridges will be assessed by engineers to determine whether there was any structural damage.
