Turia Pitt Talks Self-Love at Shellharbour Library

Shellharbour City Library is thrilled to welcome bestselling author, speaker and mindset coach Turia Pitt as a special guest this October.

Turia will appear at the City Library on Wednesday 8 October at 6pm to discuss her new book Selfish: How to Unlearn the Rules That Are Breaking You.

Known for her resilience and humour, Turia survived burns to 65 per cent of her body during an ultramarathon and has gone on to inspire thousands around the world. She is the author of four bestselling books, has coached more than 40,000 people through her online programs, and continues to share her message of strength, self-worth and living life on your own terms.

Her latest book, Selfish, challenges traditional ideas about sacrifice, guilt and burnout, offering a bold take on self-love and why putting yourself first can be a powerful act.

Shellharbour City Council Mayor Chris Homer said the event was a unique opportunity for the community to hear directly from one of Australia's most inspiring voices.
