Tutor Charged for Sexual Touching in South West Sydney

Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a tutor with alleged sexual touching offences in Sydney's south west.

On Thursday 28 August 2025, officers attached to State Crime Command's Child Abuse Squad commenced an investigation following reports of alleged sexual touching by a private tutor.

Following inquiries, about 4.30pm on Friday 29 August 2025, detectives arrested a 51-year-old man.

He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station, where he was charged with seven counts of intentionally sexually touch child between 10 and 16 years.

He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday 30 August 2025, where he was refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday (3 September 2025).
