Corangamite Shire Council is inviting families to the Twilight Family Fiesta, a free event on Friday 27 February from 6 pm.
It will feature a sausage sizzle, balloon twisting and live music for families to enjoy together.
Council warmly invites families with little ones aged five and under as well as older siblings.
This is part of the Dad's Matter initiative run by Corangamite Shire. Dad's Matter is a program that supports men in the shire on their fatherhood journey, with regular events and catch ups.
Corangamite Shire Mayor Kate Makin encouraged families to register to attend.
"Families can expect a night that is simple, fun, and relaxing," Cr Makin said.
"The Twilight Family Fiesta is the perfect chance to catch up with other families, enjoy some live music from local musician Noah Sycopoulis, and let the children have a great time," she said.
"Bring a picnic rug and settle in for a fun gathering in the beautiful Camperdown Botanic Gardens.
"We love to see families enjoying the gardens."
The event is free of charge, but registrations are essential on 0483 312 047 and can be made via text or by calling.
The Twilight Family Fiesta follows the program's booked out Family Day Out at the Cobden Miniature Railway in November.
