Two arrested after break-in at Belair , SA

After a quick response from patrols two men have been caught red handed breaking into a Belair home this morning, according to SA Police.

Just before 6.45am, Sunday 31 December, patrols responded to an alarm activation at a home on James Road.

PD Iggy and his handler were at the home within a couple of minutes and saw two men carrying property out to a waiting car. The men ran off but thanks to PD Ruger who was close by they were both apprehended a short distance away.

No-one was home at the time of the break-in and all the property has been recovered.

Both men aged 19 and 35 from Murray Bridge have been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and hinder police. They have been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
