Two Arrested After Police Car Rammed In Caulfield

Police have arrested two men after a police vehicle was allegedly rammed this morning.

Officers spotted the allegedly stolen white Honda in the Caufield North area about 4am.

The vehicle was later located by officers on Matlock Court.

The Honda allegedly rammed a police van before the two occupants attempted to flee on foot.

The two officers inside the police vehicle were not injured.

A 19-year-old Pascoe Vale South man and a 28-year-old Altona North man were arrested at the scene.

They were both taken into custody where they will be interviewed.

Two tasers were deployed during the arrest.

The vehicle was allegedly stolen from Mount Martha in June.
