Two arrested and stolen Porsche found, SA

Two people have been arrested after a vintage Porsche was stolen from a Port Pirie business last week, according to SA Police.

Police will allege that sometime between 12pm on Thursday 11 May and Sunday 14 May, the 1969 Porsche 911 was stolen from the business and driven away.

Police received information that the car was at a property on Nelson Street. They attended the property and found the car in a shed, along with other property suspected of being stolen. The car has since been returned to its owner.

A 27-year-old Port Pirie man was charged with serious criminal trespass and theft, and was refused bail to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court today.

A 36-year-old Port Pirie woman was charged with theft by receiving and unlawful possession, and was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on 10 July.
