Two arrested at Norwood after break-in at building site, SA

Two men have been arrested after they were caught with stolen household items and fittings at Norwood this morning, according to SA Police.

At about 5.30am, a patrol was exiting the Norwood police station when they saw a Toyota Hilux driving past them.

They stopped the car nearby in Edward Street for a random driver test.

A search of the car uncovered numerous items including basins, a kitchen sink, bench tops, doorknobs and fittings that had allegedly been stolen from a house under construction in Kensington.

A 25-year-old Parafield Gardens man and a 31-year-old Paralowie man will face charges of aggravated serious criminal trespass, going equipped and theft.

It is expected that they will be refused bail, and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
