Two arrested following search warrant in Murwillumbah

A man and woman have been arrested and charged after a search warrant was executed in Murwillumbah yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 11.15am yesterday, police attached to the Tweed/Byron Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a property on Lundberg Drive.

Police allege they located cannabis and methamphetamine, along with an amount of cash.

A 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.

The man was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug, occupier permit drug premises and breach of bail.

The woman was charged with goods in custody, possess prohibited drug and be on drug premises.

They were both refused bail and will appear in Tweed Heads Bail Court today, today.
