Two arrested over Marion robbery and stolen cars, SA

A man and a woman have been arrested and three stolen vehicles, including one linked to a robbery at a Marion electrical store, have been located at Prospect this morning, according to SA Police.

About 5.30pm on Friday 26 August, a man, woman and two children entered the Good Guys on Marion Road. It will be alleged the man threatened staff with a knife and stole a surveillance camera from the shelf. They left in a Holden sedan that had been reportedstolen from Thebarton on Wednesday 17 August.

A Dog Operations member located the stolen vehicle parked in a reserve off Prospect Road, Prospect about 10.30am on Sunday 28 August. Police Dog Jack managed to follow a track from the vehicle to a nearby house, and he and his handler spotted a man running from the premises.

Other police patrols quickly cordoned off the area and apprehended the man. Police Dog Oscar also assisted with the search, locating a woman and two children inside the premises.

The adults have been arrested and will be interviewed in relation to the Marion store robbery and the stolen vehicles found at the address.
