Two arrested over stolen car at Seaton, SA

Two men will face court after they were seen dumping a stolen car at Seaton overnight, according to SA Police.

Just before midnight, a Henley Beach patrol spotted a stolen Toyota Camry sedan on Frederick Road at Seaton. They lost sight of the car, so they searched the back streets, locating the stolen Camry in the driveway of a home in Matthews Ave with the lights on.

As the patrols pulled up, two men exited the vehicle and started to walk away but they were stopped and arrested.

A search of one the men also located a meat cleaver.

A 24-year-old man from Port Adelaide was arrested and charged with illegal use, driving unlicensed and carrying an offensive weapon.
While a 22-year-old man from Hendon was arrested and charged with illegal use use and breaching a bail curfew

Both men were bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.

The Toyota Camry was stolen from outside a home at Woodville West earlier in the night, after the owner left the keys in the vehicle.
