Police have charged two boys in relation to a series of alleged fires in Mildura yesterday., Victoria Police say
A member of the public noticed two children allegedly attempting to light a fire near a local swimming pool about 11.30am on 17 January.
It is alleged the same children were then spotted lighting a fire on the nature strip of Thirteenth Street about 6pm.
The pair was arrested and have been charged with one count of attempted criminal damage by fire and one count of possess items for criminal damage.
Both boys, aged 12 from Mildura, have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
