Two cars and a scooter collided at Middle Cove, NSW

An investigation is underway following a multiple vehicle crash in Sydney’s north, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Eastern Valley Way, Middle Cove, just after 3.30pm today (Saturday 10 February 2018), following reports two cars and scooter had collided.

The female rider of the scooter, a woman, was treated at the scene before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A woman in one of the cars, believed to be in her early 40s, was also treated at the scene and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

A man in one of the cars, aged in his late 50s, received minor lacerations to his face and was assessed at the scene.

Officers attached to North Shore Local Area Command, with assistance from Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit, and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Delays are expected in the area as inquiries continue.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
