Two charged after drugs seized from motel room, NSW

Two people have been charged after drugs were located inside a motel room in Broken Hill yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 5pm yesterday, police from Barrier Local Area Command executed a search warrant in a motel room on Argent Street.

During the search officers located and seized methylamphetamine, as well as paraphernalia allegedly used in the manufacture of prohibited drugs.

Two people – a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, were arrested and taken to Broken Hill Police Station.

The man was charged with supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug and was bail refused to appear at Broken Hill Local Court today. He is due to reappear on 26 July 2016.

The woman was charged with knowingly take part in the supply of prohibited drug and was granted bail to appear at Broken Hill Local Court on 26 July 2016.
