Two charged after ram raid in Albury

Two men have been charged after a ram raid in Albury early this morning, NSW Police say.

Just after 2.45am today, police were called to a sporting club on Evesham Place, Thurgoona, following reports of an aggravated break and enter.

Officers from Albury Local Area Command attended the scene and found a white Holden Colorado has reversed through the front entrance and damaged an ATM at the location.

Following inquiries, two men, aged 21 and 22, were arrested a short time later at a home in Thurgoona and taken to Albury Police Station.

The men have both been charged with aggravated break and enter.

Both men were refused bail and we appear before Albury Local Court tomorrow.
