Two charged following investigations into Sydney metropolitan property offences, NSW

A man and a woman will face court today following investigations into several alleged breaking offences across Sydney over the last two months, NSW Police say.

Police will allege the two broke into several homes, unit block garages and motor vehicles in the Ku-ring-gai, Holroyd and Redfern Local Area Commands between September and October 2017.

Following inquiries, about 12.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 31 October 2017), officers from the North West Metropolitan Regional Enforcement Squad attended a home in Fairfield Street, Yennora and arrested a 33-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman.

A search warrant was executed at the location by officers from the Ku-ring-gai Local Area Command Proactive Crime Team.

A number of alleged stolen items along with an amount of methylamphetamine and an electronic control device were located and secured for forensic analysis.

Both were taken to Fairfield Police Station where they were charged.

The 33-year-old man was charged with:

- Aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence in company (x6);

- Possess prohibited weapon;

- Attempt steal from motor vehicle;

- Supply prohibited drug; and

- Goods in custody.

The 28-year-old woman was charged with:

- Aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence in company (x4); and

- Attempt steal from motor vehicle.

Both were refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Wednesday 1 November 2017).
