Two charged with serious drug offences in Wyong

Two men charged with serious drug offences in Wyong yesterday told police they were travelling to Sydney, to attend a music festival, NSW Police say.

About 11.15am on Saturday 29 September 2018, officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District conducted a vehicle stop in Wyong CBD.

The two male occupants aged 19 and 26, and their vehicle were searched.

Police will allege that during the search they located 199 MDMA capsules, a small quantity of cannabis, metal knuckle dusters, cash and mobile phones.

The men told police that they were heading to a music festival in Sydney.

Both men were arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station where they were charged with indictable drug supply.

The men were refused bail to appear at Wyong Bail Court today (Sunday 30 September 2018).
