Two children injured in Bomaderry

Police are investigating after two children were injured at Bomaderry last night, NSW Police say.

Just after 9.30pm today, police and emergency services were called to a house on Alfred Street following reports of two injured children.

A boy aged 9 suffered burns to his face and hands and was airlifted to the Children’s Hospital at Randwick in a serious condition.

Another boy, aged 11 was taken by NSW Ambulance Paramedics to Bomaderry Hospital for burns to his arm and hands and is in a stable condition.

Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Initial investigations suggest the incident is not suspicious, but is possibly the result of misadventure.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
