Two Dead After Crash - Central Coast

A driver and a passenger have died after a two-vehicle crash on the state's Central Coast this morning.

About 2.15am today (Sunday 14 December 2025), emergency services were called to Pacific Highway, near Wadalba, following reports of a sedan and a hatchback have collided.

The driver of the hatchback– a 45-year-old woman – and the passenger – a 38-year-old woman – both died at the scene.

The driver of sedan – a 49-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for arm and leg injuries before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District established a crime scene and specialist officers from Crash Investigation Unit were called to commence an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.

Both vehicles were seized to be forensically examined.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

As the Pacific Highway near Wadalba is closed on both ways, police urge road users avoid the area at this time.
