Two dead after house fire - Glendenning

Two people have died following a house fire in the Mt Druitt area this morning.

About 4.45am today (Friday 3 June 2022), emergency services were called to Glendenning after reports of a fire.

Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command attended, along with Fire and Rescue NSW, and found a single-storey house well alight.

A female was pulled from the house with NSW Ambulance paramedics and police commencing CPR. Despite efforts to revive her, she died at the scene.

A second person was located deceased inside the building.

Fire and Rescue NSW remain on site to contain the blaze.

A crime scene has been established and investigations into the cause of the fire are underway.
