Two dead, one injured in crash near Bathurst, NSW

Two people have died and one person has been seriously injured after a single vehicle crash in the state’s Central Tablelands today, NSW Police say.

Just after 9.10am today, emergency services were called to Burraga Road, Gilmandyke, about 50km south of Bathurst, after a Toyota LandCruiser utility had crashed.

Two men were located with serious injuries and treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

One man was taken to Bathurst Hospital in a serious condition, and the second was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, where he has since died.

A third man was located deceased at the scene.

They haven’t been formally identified and their ages aren’t yet known.

Officers from Chifley Local Area Command attended and have established a crime scene and with the assistance of the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit the circumstances surrounding the crash will be investigated.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
