Police are investigating the circumstances surround the deaths of a man and woman last night in Tamworth, NSW Police say.
About 10:30pm (23 October 2016), emergency services were called to Bailey Ave, East Tamworth following concerns for the pairs welfare.
Officers from Oxley Local Area Command discovered the bodies of a man and woman inside the house.
A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
Initial investigations suggest that no one else is being sought in relation to the matter. Oxley Command are in contact with family members and assisting them through this investigation process.
Both the man and woman are expected to be formally identified today, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
