Two handguns and drugs seized during OMCG raids in Logan, QLD

Police from Taskforce Maxima Brisbane have charged four people, including one Bandido member with a series of drug and property offences after search warrants were executed in Logan., Queensland Police say

On March 30, detectives executed search warrants on addresses in Marsden and Loganlea where they allegedly uncovered two handguns, ammunition, drugs, cash and OMCG paraphernalia.

A 39-year-old man was charged with one count of fail to comply with direction.

A 20-year-old man was charged with two counts of possess dangerous drugs, and one count each of supply dangerous drugs, possess anything used in commission of a crime, possess tainted property and possess drug utensils.

A 20-year-old woman has been charged with one count of possess tainted property.

A 52-year-old man has been charged with one count each of possess dangerous drugs, possess anything used in commission of a crime and possess drug utensil.

They are all due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 17.

Investigations are ongoing in relation to the concealable firearms.

‘The seizure of firearms and dangerous drugs from OMCG and Organised Crime Gangs remain a high priority of QPS and Taskforce Maxima," Detective Inspector Phillip Stevens said.
