Two injured in affray - Girraween

Two men have been assaulted following an affray at a home in Sydney's west overnight.

Just before 9.15pm (Saturday 25 July 2020), police were called to a home on Normac Road, Girraween, after reports of a brawl.

Police have been told a group of people, armed with baseball bats and machetes, confronted the occupants of the home.

The occupants, including two men aged 42 and 31, were assaulted before the group were seen fleeing in vehicles.

The injured pair were treated at the scene for minor cuts and abrasions.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
