Two injured in crash, NSW

A car and bus collided early this morning injuring two people at Jaspers Brush, NSW Police say.

About 6am (Tuesday 9 January 2018), a 39-year-old man in a Toyota Hilux was driving along the Princes Highway, Jaspers Brush, when he allegedly crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a bus.

The driver of the Hilux was trapped for some time before being released and taken to Wollongong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

His passenger, a 35-year-old man, was uninjured.

The driver, and sole occupant of the bus, a 60-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries and taken to Shellharbour Hospital for further treatment.

Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Witnesses are urged to come forward if you haven’t yet spoken with police.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
