Two people have been injured in a jet ski crash in Sydney's south last night.
About 5pm (Monday 20 October 2025), police attached to Marine Area Command attended waters off Brighton Le Sands, following reports two jet skis had collided.
On arrival, police were told four people were in the water after being ejected from the jet skis.
A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, who were on the same jet ski, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
They were both taken to St George Hospital for treatment, with the woman sustaining serious injuries. The man has since been discharged from hospital.
An 18-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, who are believed to have been riding a second jet ski, were uninjured.
The 18-year-old was arrested for a short period of time, after attempting to leave the scene on foot. She was released pending further inquiries.
Police have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Both vessels were seized for mechanical examination.
