Two men arrested at Aldinga Beach, SA

Police have arrested two men after they were seen acting suspiciously in a house under construction overnight, according to SA Police.

Just after 10.30pm (Tuesday 16 May) police were called to Bristol Street after two men were seen on the building site.

Police responded quickly however the two men got into a car and drove off prior to police arriving.

The vehicle, a silver Ford Falcon, stopped a short time later on nearby John Street and the men spoken to.

During a search of the car police found roof insulation bats which police will allege were stolen from the house currently under construction.

A 21-year-old man from the Adelaide Hills was arrested and charged with being unlawfully on a premises and a 28-year-old man from the Adelaide Hills was arrested and charged with being unlawfully on premises and theft.

Both men were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 10 July 2017.
