Two men charged after Blackburn South arrests

Police have charged two men after arrests in Blackburn South last night, Victoria Police say.

A 21-year-old Glen Waverley man has been charged with harbour known offender, theft of motor vehicle, drug possession and commit an indictable offence while on bail.

He will appear in Ringwood Magistrates’ Court today.

A 26-year-old Blackburn South man has been charged with harbouring a known offender, weapons offences and outstanding warrants.

He will appear in Ringwood Magistrates’ Court today.

A 20-year-old wanted on warrant in relation to a fatal collision in Oakleigh earlier this week was also arrested at a Fulton Road address about 7.30pm last night.

He was charged with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, fail to stop after collision with a fatality, fail to render assistance after fatal collision, theft of motor vehicle and drive whilst disqualified.

He will be presented before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
