Two men charged Glenelg shop fire , SA

Two men have been arrested and charged with arson following a Glenelg shop fire back in August, according to SA Police.

Sturt Police will allege, just before 5am on Saturday 19 August, police and fire crews were called to a butcher's shop on Jetty Road in relation to a fire. The building and contents were extensively damaged in the blaze, with the fire determined to be suspicious.

Sturt CIB Detectives investigated the incident and as a result on Wednesday 22 November, they arrested and charged a 58-year-old man from Parafield Gardens and 56-year-old man from Angle Park with arson and acts to endanger life.

Both men have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 17 January.
