Two men charged over armed robbery in Loganlea, QLD

Detectives from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two men after a 17 year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were robbed in their Loganlea residence on Sunday November 6, 2016, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged around 4.25pm two men entered the Kingston Road house and threatened the couple with a handgun.

A quantity of property was allegedly stolen by the men who then fled the scene in a car.

The man and the woman were not physically injured during the incident.

Investigations by detectives have resulted in a 35-year-old man from Greenbank being charged with armed robbery. He is expected to face the Richlands Magistrates Court today.

A 31-year-old man from Greenbank has also been charged with armed robbery. He is expected to appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on November 23, 2016.
