Two men are in hospital following a collision at Broadmeadows earlier this morning, Victoria Police say.
The incident happened when the men walked out on to Pearcedale Parade and were struck by a passing car just before 12.30am.
Prior to the collision police believe the men were at a party in a community hall on Pearcedale Parade with a group of friends.
After the men were struck by the car several other party-goers assaulted the driver and damaged his vehicle.
A 32-year-old Sunbury man and a 29-year-old man from Derrimut were both conveyed to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old Dallas man, was not injured in the incident and is assisting police with their enquiries.
