Two men are being treated for cuts and a third is in custody after a fight in Lakemba.
Emergency services were called to Railway Parade shortly after 2pm (Wednesday 21 January 2026), and found two men – believed to be aged in their 30s – suffering knife wounds to their necks.
Officers from Campsie Police Area Command rendered assistance until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated the men before they were taken to St George Hospital. Both are reported to be in a stable condition.
A 59-year-old man was arrested at the scene and a knife was seized. It's been taken for further examination.
That man has been taken to Campsie Police Station where inquiries are continuing
All men are believed to be known to each other.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries are underway.
