Two men to appear in court after robbery investigations, South Australia

Two men have been arrested following property searches which were conducted as part of police investigations into recent hotel robberies.

The men were not charged with robbery offences, however will appear in court today in relation to other matters.

Police from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch, Northern District, State Tactical Response Group and STAR Group conducted property searches between 25 October and 28 October.

As a result a 43-year-old man from Hendon was arrested for driving unlicensed, theft and receiving. He is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

A 42-year-old man from Glynde was arrested for breaching his bail and illegal use of a motor vehicle. He is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Police also seized two vehicles and a number of items which they will allege were capable of being used in robberies.

Investigation teams are proactively targeting people of interest; searching properties; and checking their compliance with bail, parole and home detention conditions.
